Mediation
Ted Sherwood and John McCormick both offer private mediation services through Dispute Resolutions Consultants, Inc. (DRC). The mediations they perform probe every aspect of a case to achieve a complete understanding of the facts, issues and interests involved. The mediation services are available in both the Tulsa and Oklahoma City offices. Our mediations provide a comfortable environment that helps to minimize stress and encourage meaningful negotiation. Both Ted and John persist in their efforts until your case is closed.
Ted Sherwood has conducted between 80-100 mediations as an adjunct settlement judge for the District Court of Tulsa County as well as serving as lead trial counsel in 150-175 mediations. He has gone through the Adjunct Settlement Judge Training course for the Tulsa County District Court.
John McCormick was appointed as an adjunct settlement judge for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma in 1988.. He continues to serve as a senior adjunct settlement judge. McCormick has conducted private mediations with Dispute Resolution Consultants since 1993. He has gone through Adjunct Settlement Judge Training for the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Oklahoma and Advanced Mediation Training at Pepperdine University, Malibu, CA.
